e draw, Vqueens garnered the #1 overall selection of the draft, thereby meriting the services of one LaDainian Tomlinson RB. Because LT’s fantasy value far surpass
es all others’, the Vqueen’s draft couldn’t help but grade out well. Chad Johnson WR and Carson Palmer QB will certainly look smart in Vqueen uniforms this season. Johnson was the top receiver taken in many a draft, and Palmer is the clear cut #2 quarterback after a certain Indy QB. Yet one can’t help question the wisdom of waiting until the 6th r
ound to select the team’s second tailback, though it turned out okay given Brandon Jackson RB is the likely starter in Green Bay. Not a bad take for the 84th pick overall. But depth is a serious issue for the Vqueens as their draft went flatline after round 7. Taking a kicker in that next round was ill advised, and Chris Henry WR in the 10th? This jaded Bengal is suspended for the first half of the season. Overall, Vqueens appears to be a serious playoff contender, but injuries to one or two key starters will decimate their chances.
